International students interested in pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at York University can apply for the Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarships and the International Entrance Scholarships of Distinction.

Scholarship value:

$80,000 ($20,000 x 4 years) Global Leader of Tomorrow Award

$140,000 ($35,000 x 4 years) International Entrance Scholarship of Distinction

All of the above scholarships are renewable for three years of full-time undergraduate study as long as strong academic standing is maintained each year.

Eligibility:

You must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for the Major International Scholarships:

• You must be an international student who requires a Study Permit in order to study in Canada.

• Applicants must have applied to a York undergraduate degree program that begins in the fall of 2021.

• You must have applied to York right after graduating from high school and have no previous university or college education.

• Must have an outstanding academic record with a “A” average or higher.

• Leadership must be proven via community service or distinction in the arts, sports, or other areas of personal achievement.

• Their high school must nominate them (schools may nominate one student only)

To apply, go to the International Student Scholarship & Award Application page and fill out the form. You’ll need a 9-digit York reference number, which you’ll get within 5 business days after submitting your application to York. By the 15th of January 2021, you must have submitted your application to York. The application date is February 1, 2021. Apply Now
